Withdrawal without a defect
The withdrawal policy sets out deadlines and effects. Returns go to the business address in Linz, and the buyer bears direct return costs when properly informed before purchase. Contact us with logistics questions; timely declaration or return is not conditional on approval.
Defective or incorrect goods
Smartquot e.U. is responsible for statutory conformity remedies. Report the issue with an order reference; photos help but are not the only acceptable evidence. The seller bears necessary costs of statutory remedies and coordinates any required return, assessment, repair or replacement. Short internal reporting deadlines or delivery checks do not remove statutory rights. A repair under the VGG conformity remedy adds one year to the guarantee period once. Before providing a remedy, we explain the choice between repair and replacement and the possible extension.
Unsuccessful or cancelled campaign
If the target is not met after payment reconciliation, or the campaign is cancelled, the entire amount charged, including shipping and taxes, is refunded. No replacement order or mandatory voucher is imposed. Refunds are initiated through Stripe; an internal “requested” status is not a completed refund.
Payment method and processing
Refunds normally use the original payment method. Statutory refund deadlines remain decisive and are distinct from bank posting times. Failed or pending refunds are handled and their status communicated. No fixed bank crediting time is invented here.
Return address and contact
The return recipient is the operator below at its Linz address. Include an order reference with the return and retain proof of posting. The electronic form is available independently of a user account.
